And as investors race to invest in the future of cryptocurrency, many people are asking how Bitcoin is doing in the space race to be the investment of the future.

How Bitcoin Is Doing In The Space Race To Be The Investment Of The Future

Where does cryptocurrency stand? How does it compare to other investments this year?

As we approach the end of the year and look at how much the cryptocurrency market has grown in just a few years, it's easy to see how it would be hard for any one cryptocurrency to stand out from the pack.

A few cryptocurrencies stole the headlines this year. These include Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, and Bitcoin Cash.

Let's discuss where these coins fall in terms of their numbers for client downloads and markets cap. In addition, we'll look at a few other promising coins that are expected to rise in popularity next year.

Where does cryptocurrency stand?

Cryptocurrency is a form of digital money that uses cryptography to secure and verify transactions. It's a relatively new type of asset, having been around since 2009.

Cryptocurrency is a form of digital currency that can be used as an investment, or for online purchases and exchanges. It is the primary form of cryptocurrency, which is based on blockchain technology.

Bitcoin was the first cryptocurrency to be created, and it serves as an alternative to traditional currency in many ways. Cryptocurrencies are digital assets that are converted into tokens that are used to represent value in a particular transaction or asset. The tokens can then be exchanged for goods or services at a later date by the holder of the token.

There are several types of cryptocurrencies available on the market today.

The most popular type is bitcoin (BTC), which was created by Satoshi Nakamoto in 2008 and has since become one of the most valuable cryptocurrencies available today; it also serves as an exchange system for other cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum (ETH) or Litecoin (LTC).

Bitcoin is used as an alternative form of payment on many websites including Google and Microsoft; however, most major retailers do not accept bitcoin payments due to its volatile price fluctuations."

How does it compare to other investments this year?

  • Private equity is a form of investment and a type of equity. Private equity can come from venture capital, private placements, and other sources. Unlike public equities, private equities are not traded on the open market and are generally illiquid.
  • Private equity has higher returns than most types of equity investments. The average return is 25% to 30%, depending on the time frame. These returns vary greatly by industry and economic cycle, as well as the type of private equity vehicle involved.
  • Private equity can be less risky than other types of investments because it doesn't experience the same level of volatility as public markets. Also, the nature of private equity makes it easier for investors to have a more intimate knowledge about their holdings.
  • Private equity tends to have higher fees than other types of investments because firms charge for their expertise in managing these investments. However, these fees usually pay off in the long run with much higher returns compared to similar public stock options.

Private equity is a good investment if you want low risk and high reward potential.

It's the wild west of investments

It's the wild west of investments, and that means you need to be ready for anything.

Cryptocurrency is a digital asset designed to work as a medium of exchange. It uses cryptography to secure transactions, control the creation of additional units, and verify the transfer of assets. It is decentralized, meaning there’s no central bank or government that has control over it. And it’s not physical—it exists only in cyberspace.

And while cryptocurrency is far from mainstream, it’s growing quickly. According to Forbes, Bitcoin (the most popular cryptocurrency) was worth $3,000 per unit in January 2017; by December 2018, its value had reached $20,000 per unit (and then dropped back down).

In other words: cryptocurrency has the potential to make you rich—but only if you know what you’re doing.

The most important thing to remember when investing in cryptocurrency is that it’s still very new: while some cryptocurrencies have been around since 2009 (Bitcoin), many are just getting started now. So while some may grow exponentially over time (like Bitcoin), others may not even survive past 2020!

Lots of people are getting rich from it

  1. Some are making millions and even billions of dollars from the cryptocurrency.
  2. The most successful investors in the world have only one thing in common.
  3. There is no need to invest in something different just to make a quick buck.
  4. Stick with what you know and go at it with all your might.
  5. Warren Buffett, someone who is rich and famous, is not mean. He's a nice guy.
  6. They don’t waste money on things that never make them rich, such as expensive coffees.
  7. Sure the lottery might be an option for this but you are unlikely to win the lottery considering how many people play it every single week. Also, if you do win then you may be subject to some hefty tax bills from it all as well.

This can be a great investment opportunity but do your research first and don't take risks you can't afford to take.

It is fairly safe, if you're smart about it

  • Do not interact with someone you don't know or trust.
  • When uploading media, always read terms and conditions before clicking "agree" to ensure that the app doesn't claim ownership of the content you've uploaded.
  • Check email filters often so that you can monitor activity.
  • Be wary of links that get sent via message or email, even from someone you know.
  • Keep your accounts private so that only friends are able to view what you post.
  • If you want to get involved in social media, ensure your parents or carers are on board first. They might help set up your account and give advice about how best to use it, who to friend, etc.

It is going to be okay as long as you take necessary precautions before getting into things that are investment oriented.

There are hundreds of different kinds of cryptocurrency now. Which one should I invest in?

In the cryptocurrency game, it is imperative you are on top of your choices. There are more than a thousand different digital coins available, so choosing could be difficult. 14 Dec 2018 As the hype around various cryptocurrencies skyrocket, you may have read about people making quick money by buying and selling them.

Some have become millionaires without investing much. But is this for real? Let's find out, shall we?  To start with, let's take a look at what exactly cryptocurrencies are.

If you have heard about Bitcoin or Ethereum more often than not, then you probably know what they mean. Before that though, let's quickly break down the words "crypto" and "currency".

There are hundreds of different kinds of cryptocurrency now

  • A lot of crypto speculators are creating their own coins and selling them to investors.
  • Speculators are using these cryptocurrencies to gamble with.
  • There are a number of apps being created for these cryptocurrencies.
  • It's also possible to trade these cryptocurrencies on exchanges that are very similar to stock exchanges.
  • CoinMarketCap tracks the price of thousands of different cryptocurrencies.
  • You can buy cryptocurrency in person by going to a store or you can buy it online from an exchange that accepts it.
  • It's possible to store cryptocurrencies in software wallets or hardware wallets.

Cryptocurrencies are not all created the same, and there is no guarantee they will hold value over time.

Which one should I invest in?

This is an exciting time for crypto investors as there are so many coins out there that it can be hard to choose which one will rise in value. So we’ve narrowed down a few of our favorites and listed them below:

Cardano (ADA) – Cardano is currently sitting at number 9 on Coinmarketcap, however we predict that this coin will explode in price over the next year. With its low circulating supply, high market cap and strong team behind it, we think ADA could be a great investment option right now!

EOS (EOS) – EOS has been dubbed “the Ethereum killer” by some experts and if it continues to develop at its current pace then it just might live up to that name!

Though still very new, EOS is showing promise as an alternative to Ethereum for dapp developers who want more scalability than what Ethereum can offer. If you want a chance at investing in a coin that could be huge then this one...

Despite these wins, Bitcoin's value has fallen almost 75% since its all-time high. Clearly, the currency is still volatile and has a long way to go before it could realistically overtake fiat currency as the preferred means of payment for consumers or gamblers.

There are, however, plenty of investors who believe it can do exactly that. And in the meantime, cryptocurrencies will continue to make waves on the market—and drive headlines.
