It's a tool for small businesses and freelancers who want to manage their projects and tasks more efficiently. It allows you to track time spent on tasks, keep track of your progress, collaborate with others in real-time, and share files easily.


Wrike's dashboard is intuitive and easy to navigate. You can set up multiple dashboards for different departments or clients if needed.


You can also create task templates that make it easy to add new tasks quickly without having to enter details from scratch each time. You can assign tasks to other members of your team and see what they're working on at any given time as well! You can also assign due dates and track open issues in real-time so everyone knows what needs attention right away!


Billing is flexible too—you can pay monthly or annually depending on which plan works best for your business needs. The free version offers most features but some premium ones are only available with paid plans like "Project Manager" ($10/month) or "Enterprise" ($20/month).


What is Wrike Time Tracking?

How can I track time using Wrike?


  1. Time Tracking in Wrike is simple and powerful tool for managing the time your team spend on tasks.
  2. You can record time on any task by clicking the Track Time button:
  3. By default, this will open a window in Wrike where you can set the start time, duration and description for your work log.
  4. Wrike can also record time automatically.
  5. Wrike’s automatic time tracking collects information about when tasks are opened or modified.
  6. If a task is open on your screen for more than 5 minutes, Wrike will begin recording time.
  7. To manually add a timer, click on timer at the bottom of your screen and use the drop down menu to select a task name or ID number.
  8. You can manage all your active timers at any time by clicking on the timer icon in the bottom right corner of your screen.
  9. Tasks with recorded time appear in your Recent Activity panel and in the Report Builder.


How can I view my team's progress on the tasks?


  1. To view how much time has been logged on the task, hover the cursor over the icon with a clock in the right corner of the task. A pop-up will appear with information about all logged time.
  2. To see who is working on which tasks and how much time they've logged, open Wrike's Timeline View. In this view, you can also filter tasks by assignee or team.
  3. With Wrike's free mobile apps for iOS and Android you can start or stop a timer right from your phone or tablet.
  4. To start or stop a timer, just click the button in the top toolbar. The timer will automatically pause when you move away from your computer and resume when you get back to work.

Does the Wrike Planner provide any other features?


  1. You can filter the Planner to see only the tasks you are subscribed to, or assigned to.
  2. You can add attachments, links, and notes.
  3. You can create subtasks right in the Planner.
  4. If a task has a custom field with a dropdown list, you can select it right in the Planner without opening the task card.
  5. You can visually indicate that a task is on hold.
  6. You can estimate task time with custom durations (you previously could only estimate with standard work hours).
  7. The Planner has been optimized for high-res displays from phones and tablets to laptops and desktops.


Because Wrike is so well designed and offers a number of extra features, we recommend it for projects that require a lot of collaboration. It is perfect for big projects with lots of sub-tasks, like product development. And since it's so user friendly, you'll be able to use it for more than just the big jobs. If a project requires only the basics—like keeping an accurate log of time spent on tasks—then you might want to look at some other options. But when you need something more robust, then Wrike will be worth a closer look.
